Our original Striebig has done a terrific job and is a great piece of equipment. Before we recently opened our fourth warehouse, needed to cope with an increase in business, I did look at some other makes of saws. The fact that we have had no problems with the Striebig in 11 years, coupled with the excellent service we get from the supplier, prompted us to buy two more.

We had both been using Striebig saws for many years and have a good working relationship with the machines’ suppliers, T.M. Machinery, who look after all of our machine maintenance. So when it came to choosing a new saw we had no hesitation in sticking with Striebig. There was no need to look anywhere else. We picked the Compact model because we use a lot of Jumbo size boards measuring 2070 x 2600mm and needed the machine’s height. It’s the ideal tool for us as it does exactly what we need it do, and does it extremely well.

The cleanness of the cut is its biggest advantage. We never cut that clean before. T.M. has given us great service, delivering the machine on time as promised and providing thorough on-site training. We are so impressed that they have been asked to service all of our machines in future.

I would not dream of going for another make of saw. A Striebig may not be the cheapest available but it’s the very best. We operate 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday and the saws, which are vital to us, are in constant use from 3.00pm to 5.00am. I have stayed with Striebig for all our sawing needs because despite the sheer amount of work we get out of them, they just never let us down.

We are very happy with the good level of service we receive from T.M., who maintain all our machines, I went to see them about a sander and was pleased with what I saw. We get a better and far quicker finish with the Viet. Only one pass is needed and the components are ready to go to the paint shop to be primed, which saves us a great deal of time and effort. All the lads in the workshop are happy with it. It was a great buy

Having purchased Striebig saws within previous companies I have always found them reliable, accurate and operator friendly. Within the sign and graphics trade it is now industry standard to groove ACM sheets to then fold into tray panels, this is undoubtedly the machine for the job. I found TM Machinery very professional, informative and gave a great service.....

It was not the cheapest vertical panel saw that we looked at but it offered the best solution for our needs due to the guaranteed accuracy it provides and its space saving construction. We are very happy with it as it’s reliable and very easy for our operators to work with. Because the blade moves instead of the panel, which was not the case with the flat bed saw, once a panel has been placed in position on the machine’s bed it cannot move, which is preventing any miscuts during our sizing operations.

The two other manufacturers we looked at in addition to Striebig offered cheaper machines but they were far less well-built and not as robust. They were also not as simple to set up, which is important as almost all of our work consists of one-offs.

As well as being simple to set up, we get a totally accurate cut every time and it’s far easier to load the biggest panels on to it than on to the panel saw. It has made panel sizing much, much easier.

Because it’s so easy to load a panel onto the Striebig it has cut out all the backbreaking work of manhandling a heavy panel onto the table saw’s bed. It also delivers the kind of sustained accuracy when cutting repeat pieces you just can’t get on a table saw. We have never had a serious problem with the Striebig and it is still as accurate as the day it was installed. With regular servicing it just goes on and on. It’s the best bit of kit we have in the workshop and our technicians have had many requests from the maintenance staff who want to use it.

We bought a Striebig because of the saw’s well-known reputation for quality and reliability. A Compact model was chosen because it was best suited for our needs. It’s ideally sized, efficient, accurate, smooth and quiet in operation, and very easy to work with. We are very pleased with the saw, making a vertical cut used to be really hard going, but is no problem for the Striebig

Everyone who uses it agrees that the Control is a brilliant saw. It’s so simple to set up and because it’s power driven it has taken all the hard work out of the job. As well as slashing the time we now need to spend on sizing, it gives a smooth and accurate cut every time, whatever the sheet material used.

Today, Striebig is recognised as the key machine for cutting amongst solid surface fabricators. The Control is easy for our staff to operate and gives us a good clean and precise cut every time, both vertically and horizontally.\" An important reason for buying the Striebig was the ‘can-do’ attitude displayed by the Swiss manufacturer’s sole UK dealer, T.M.
